Mindfulness has become increasingly popular in recent years. The use of the word has risen exponentially in the last decade. And for good reason. As a neuroscientist, I have spent years studying the brain and its functions, and I have come to the conclusion that mindfulness is a powerful tool for promoting mental and physical well-being.
